The Delegation from TAFE Queensland Brisbane (TQB) Visit WXIT
On 25th March, President of Brisbane TAFE Aaron Devine and the Director of International Office visited WXIT and discussed Sino-Australia Cooperative Program. President of WXIT Gong Fanghong, Vice President Feng Yuan and the staff from School of International Education attended the meeting.
The delegation, accompanied by vice president Feng Yuan, visited Intelligent Plant, library, and Center of Networking Technology, speaking in praise of equipments, students’ artistic works, and beautiful campus environment.
In the afternoon, President Gong Fanghong had a formal meeting with Aaron Devine, President of TBQ , and expressed our warm welcome to the Delegation from TBQ. The two sides briefed on their schools, discussed specific issues of cooperation, and ultimately reached agreement for substantive collaboration soon.
TAFE Queensland Brisbane, composed of 6 branch schools, is the largest experienced vocational technique institute in Queensland of Australia. Every year, TAFE offers about 500 major projects and vocational training for 180,000 students with the high employment rate of 89%. TBQ has made great contributions for the development of this area.
